Monthly Meeting: Speaker Richard Thomson from VC Taxpayers Assoc.
09/ 19/ 2012
7:00 PM 9:00 PM
Join us Wednesday, September 19, to hear Richard Thomson, president of the Ventura County Taxpayers Association, speak to us about the TAX PROPOSITIONS facing Californians on the November 6 ballot. These include Prop. 30, Jerry Brown’s tax hike; Prop. 38, a competing tax increase initiative; and Prop. 39, an income tax increase on multistate businesses.
These and other issues concerning the VCTA will be addressed, and your questions answered, in a relaxed yet stimulating environment with people who share your concerns about your taxes, your economy, and your control over the future of California.
Also joining us this evening will be Stephen Frank, publisher for Political New & Views, who is advocating “NO on Prop. 37.” Prop. 37 is known as the “California Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food Act.” **
Spend the evening with your fellow liberty-lovers, getting informed and getting ready for your crucial votes in the upcoming election. Be with us from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on September 19 in Thousand Oaks. Bring interested friends and acquaintances too—they’re always welcome!
