Unanswered questions abound as news of a raid on Oxnard’s City Hall reaches residents of Ventura County. In the wake of the City of Bell scandal and subsequently the City of Vernon’s corruption, county residents are beginning to wonder if improper use of taxpayer funds isn’t common place.

An opportunity to hear local candidates from city council to school board has been planned by local TEA Party members for September 16th, 2010 at the Calvary Chapel in Newbury Park. The event will start at 7pm and will be hosted by Ventura County Libertarian Party Vice-Chair, Flavio Fiumerodo. “It’s still a ways out, but so far we’ve got six city council members and two of five school board members who will be in attendance,” says Fiumerodo.
